The Saksham Demo Day, held during TiECon Chandigarh 2025, showcased India’s most promising assistive technology startups, bringing together entrepreneurs, investors, and industry leaders. The event highlighted nine pioneering startups focused on creating solutions to enhance accessibility and inclusivity for individuals with disabilities.

Out of 100+ applications, nine startups were selected to present their pioneering solutions, including:

• ✅ Cognitii: AI-powered platform for learning disabilities
• ✅ Exobot Dynamics: Affordable bionic prosthetic hands
• ✅ Gabify: AI-driven speech therapy
• ✅ Buddy Mobility: Mobility solutions for accessibility
• ✅ Ripple Healthcare: IoT-enabled smart belt preventing falls
• ✅ SaralX: Enhancing digital accessibility for impaired individuals
• ✅ SunQulp: Sensory-assistive devices for visually and hearing-impaired users
• ✅ Thinklude: Indian Sign Language translation platform
• ✅ uDot: Tactile touchscreen display for visually impaired learners

The first prize of Rs 5 lakh went to Thinklude, a startup that translates text, audio, and video into Indian Sign Language. Ripple Healthcare was awarded Rs 3 lakh as the 1st runner-up, and Gabify secured Rs 2 lakh as the 2nd runner-up. These grants will help further develop their solutions and extend their social impact.

Supported by key partners like Tynor Orthotics, Netsmartz Infotech, WE Excel Software Pvt Ltd, Witzeal Technologies, and IDS Infotech, the Saksham initiative, in collaboration with TiE Chandigarh, is set to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of accessible innovations in India, empowering startups with funding, mentorship, and industry connections to create a dynamic ecosystem that makes assistive technology more accessible and scalable on a global level.
