TiE Chandigarh Kicks Off Masterclasses

In a significant initiative aimed at empowering budding entrepreneurs, TiE Chandigarh has launched its first-ever Transformative Masterclass Series. This series, which began at the Atal Incubation Centre (AIC) at the Indian School of Business (ISB), brought together industry leaders and entrepreneurs to equip participants with essential skills and knowledge to navigate the dynamic world of business.

The inaugural sessions were attended by around 70 participants, representing various industries and startups. The goal of the Masterclass Series is to help entrepreneurs hone their expertise in areas like sales strategies, business development, and niche market exploration.

Insights from the Experts

The first two sessions featured industry heavyweights like Harit Mohan, Founder of Signicent Information Solutions LLP, and Ravi Sharma, Co-Founder and CEO of Webomaze Pvt Ltd. Both speakers shared their extensive experience in sales and marketing, offering practical insights into creating market niches and building effective business strategies.

Harit Mohan’s session, titled “Building Your International Dream Sales Team – The Art of Generating Sales”, emphasized the importance of trust and empowerment within sales teams. He stressed the role of tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and CRM systems in optimizing outreach strategies and improving sales processes. His expertise provided the participants with a roadmap for scaling businesses and building sustainable sales teams.

Ravi Sharma’s session, “Learn to Create a Niche in Business – Scale with Pride”, highlighted the intricacies of niche business development. He explained the need for tailoring sales strategies to align with specific market demands, which ensures effective account management and sustained growth within a niche. Sharma also discussed the importance of continuous market research and competitor analysis in maintaining a competitive edge.

TiE Chandigarh’s Vice President Puneet Verma kicked off the series with a note on the strategic thinking behind this initiative. He highlighted the growing importance of industry-specific knowledge and the need for startups to address evolving market challenges. Verma reiterated the importance of preparing the next generation of entrepreneurs to excel in today’s fast-paced and competitive business environment.
