Reflecting on 2024: A Year of Milestones for TiE Chandigarh
The year 2024 has been truly remarkable in the history of TiE Chandigarh, marked by groundbreaking initiatives and impactful events. One of the standout moments was an inspiringwomen-led event, organized and executed by our dynamic women members. The Road to TiE Global Summit became a marquee event, setting the stage for a larger global presence.

The TiE Chandigarh Cricket League reached new heights with the esteemed presence of the Industry Minister, further strengthening our ecosystem.
Our active participation in the TTiE Global Summitshowcased our growing influence, while the Winter Retreat in Coorg fostered deeper connections among our charter members.

Masterclasses provided invaluable learning experiences, and the signing of an MoU with Chandigarh Angels Network (CAN) reinforced our commitment to regional synergy and growth in the area of investment and funding and strengthening the 5th pillar of TiE. The Final Pitch Event on Water Innovate was another highlight, pushing the boundaries of innovation and sustainability. As we look back, 2024 has truly left a lasting imprint on our journey.

2025: A Year of New Beginnings
As we step into 2025, new hopes and ambitions fuel our vision. The 10th edition of TiECon Chandigarh is on the horizon, promising to be bigger and more impactful than ever before. TiE Chandigarh, in partnership with AIC at the Indian School of Business, hosted Master Class Series 2, a golden opportunity for entrepreneurs, innovators, and leaders to learn, network, and grow by bringing them together under one roof.

TiE Chandigarh & Chandigarh Angels Network (CAN)Sign MoU to Boost Startups

On December 18, 2024, TiE Chandigarh and Chandigarh Angels Network (CAN) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to empower startups with funding, mentorship, and resources. The MoU was signed by Mr. Satish Kumar Arora, President of TiE Chandigarh, and Mr. Ajay Tewari, President of CAN, with contributions from Mr. Puneet Verma and CA Baldev Garg.

Key Highlights:

TYE Global: Nurturing young innovators (Class 9 to +2) to pitch ideas and secure funding.
TiE University Global Pitch Competition: A platform for college students to gain funding.
TiE Women GPC: Empowering women entrepreneurs with mentorship and funding.
Startup Success Stories: Recognizing local entrepreneurs at TiE Global Summit 2024.
TiEcon Chandigarh 2025: A marquee event on March 6-7, 2025, with live funding and investor connections.

Water Innovate 2024

TiE Chandigarh, in collaboration with the Embassy of Israel in India and the Irrigation & Water Resources Department, Govt. of Haryana, hosted the Grand Finale Pitch Event of Water Innovate 2024 at the ACIC RISE Association, CGC Landran Mohali on 19th December 2024. This prestigious event celebrated innovation and collaboration, with a special focus on AI-driven solutions for water sustainability.

Event Highlights:

Innovative Pitches: Nine startups— seven from India and two from Israel —presented their cutting-edge water-tech solutions through dynamic 8-minute pitches and 7 minute Q&A sessions.
Networking Opportunities: The event brought together innovators, investors, policymakers, and representatives from the Embassy of Israel and the Govt. of Haryana, fostering meaningful connections and collaborations.
Recognizing Excellence: The top three startups were celebrated for their impactful contributions to water management and sustainability.
Post-Event Engagement: A networking lunch provided a platform for further knowledge exchange and collaboration.

This December, TiE Chandigarh successfully launched its Member Connect Program with three impactful sessions at AIC, ISB Mohali on December 3rd, December 5th, and December 17th.
